Federal Reporting
AJLA–TS has extensive expertise in federal workforce reporting requirements and implementation. AJLA–TS maintains an automated weekly process to generate the Participant Individual Record Layout (PIRL) and associated data files for Department of Labor submission, creating separate files for each enrollment that follow the Workforce Integrated Performance System (WIPS) schema and data edits. The system comprehensively supports reporting requirements across multiple programs, including Title I, Title III, Jobs for Veterans State Grants, Trade Adjustment Assistance programs, H-1B grants, REO, and YouthBuild to support the DOL-only PIRL.

To ensure data quality and compliance, the system generates weekly data validation files as Excel spreadsheets, randomly sampling records from each local area. This validation process helps verify that performance data meets the requirements of TEGL 23-19 Change 1 for validity, accuracy, reliability, and
comparability across programs. The platform maintains essential data for all mandatory state and federal reporting requirements, storing information for WIOA Titles I & III, TAA, National Dislocated Worker Grants, Registered Apprenticeship
State Grants, YouthBuild, and Reentry Employment Opportunities.

Tableau provides robust and flexible management and federal reporting capabilities across all programs and funding streams, including statespecific grants. The PIRL data files and quarterly and annual reports are generated out of Tableau, as are the Quarterly Report Analysis reports and ETP annual data files, and both AJL and Tableau are kept up to date as new WIPS edit checks and other federal reporting requirements are released. Tableau also gives supervisors and directors tremendous flexibility to monitor staff activity and progress toward performance goals and make data-driven decisions.
