Training Provider Search

If ProviderLink is implemented in your state, use the Training Provider Search to locate approved WIOA Eligible Training Providers, WIOA Youth Service Providers, or Registered Apprenticeship Sponsors. The Training Provider Search is designed to search approved training provider records by a variety of parameters.

If you know the training provider you're looking for, search by the training provider's Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) or institution name. If you are browsing for providers, use a keyword or select filters to narrow your search.

Conduct Training Provider Search

1. Navigate to the Training Provider Search.
• The search is available from the AJL home page by selecting the Find Training tab or the Training Provider landing page. You must then select the Search for Training Providers link beneath the keyword field.

2. Narrow your search using the Keyword and/or Location and Radius fields.
3. Use filters to further narrow your search:
   • Provider Services: WIOA Provider, WIOA Youth Provider, or Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor
   • Institution Type: Higher Ed: Associate's Degree, Higher Ed: Baccalaureate or Higher, Higher Ed: Certificate of Completion, National Apprenticeship, Private for Profit, Private Non-Profit, Public, or Other
   • Local Area: (Varies by State)
• A filter option will only display if there is a match in the system. For example, if you do not see the WIOA Youth Provider filter, there are currently no approved WIOA Youth Providers.
4. Review the content on the results cards:
   • Banner: Displays the account status and the provider type. ServiceLink staff will only see approved providers.
   • Institution: The name of the institution displays as a link to the Training Provider Details page.
   • Location: Displays the city, state, and country of the provider.
   • Credentials: Displays tags of the type of credentials the provider offers.
   • Description: Displays a preview of the provider description. (Many older accounts are missing provider descriptions.)
   • Provider ID: The system-generated ID number of the provider; this is used primarily for reporting purposes.
   • Dates: Displays the Last Updated, Created, and Approved dates.
5. Select the institution name. The Training Provider Details page displays.

6. Review the available information:
   • Provider Details
     • Training Provider ID: The provider's system-generated ID number.
     • FEIN: The provider's Federal Employment Identification Number.
     • Training Institution Type: Higher Ed: Associate's Degree, Higher Ed: Baccalaureate or Higher, Higher Ed: Certificate of Completion, National Apprenticeship, Private for Profit, Private Non-Profit, Public, or Other
     • Services Provided: Accreditation or financial aid info.
     • Local WIB: The name of the Local Area managing this provider.
     • Address: The provider's primary address. (Locations of programs may be elsewhere)
     • Map and Directions: Links to Google Maps.
     • County: The county in which the provider is located.
     • Phone: The provider's primary phone number for the general public.
     • Website: The provider's website.
   • Credentials: Displays the Provider Type (Postsecondary institution eligible to receive Title IV funds from Higher Education Act (HEA) that provides an associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or certificate; Postsecondary institution not providing an associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or certificate; Registered Apprenticeship program under National Apprenticeship Act; Non-registered apprenticeship program; Community-based organization; Joint vocational school, Proprietary school, or other)
   • Accreditation & Financial Aid: Displays any accreditation and financial aid available.
   • Programs: Displays the number of approved programs; links to the Training Provider Programs page. See the Training Program Search for a description of the details available for programs.
   • Primary Contact: Displays the name, title, email, and phone of the person to contact about the provider or their programs.
   • Approval Status: Only approved providers will display, unless you are logged in as a provider or ETP Local or State Admin.
   • Last Updated: The date the record was last updated by the provider or staff.

Registered Apprenticeship Sponsors

Registered Apprenticeship Sponsors display the following information on the Sponsor Details page.

• Training Provider ID: The sponsor's system-generated ID number.
• RA Number: The sponsor's state-assigned Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor number
• NAICS Code: The industry code related to the sponsor.
• Address: The sponsor's primary address. (Locations of programs may be elsewhere)
• Map and Directions: Links to Google Maps.
• County: The sponsor's county.
• Local WIB: The name of the Local Area managing this provider.
• County: The county in which the provider is located.
• Primary Contact: Name and title of the person the public should contact with any questions about the apprenticeship.
• Approval Status: Only approved sponsors will display, unless you are logged in as a provider or ETP Local or State Admin.
• Last Updated: The date the record was last updated by the provider or staff.
