Migrant Seasonal Farm Worker
The following instructions apply to the Migrant Seasonal Farm Worker (MFSW) section of the Demographics Information. Clients may or may not see these pages, depending on how they answer questions. For each page, the type of field is identified, as well as the description for each field.
Are you a Migrant Worker (Page 1)
- Do you believe that you are a Seasonal Farm Worker/Migrant? Drop-down; Select Yes or No. If Yes, the second Migrant Worker page displays.
Are you a Migrant Worker (Page 2)
- Did you work at least 25 days in any seasonal, agricultural jobs during the past year? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
- Did you earn at least $800 in any seasonal, agricultural jobs during the past year? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
- Did you work in a food processing plant on a seasonal or migrant basis during the past year? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
- Was at least 50% of your past year's income earned by working in agriculture? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
- Was at least 50% of your past year's total work time in agricultural work? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
- Did you work for more than one agricultural employer? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
- Were you able to return home every day you worked in agriculture? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
- Are you a full-time student who traveled with a group other than your family to work in agriculture? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
If Questions 1, 4, and/or 6 are No, the Employment Status page displays. If not, the third Migrant Worker page displays.

- Were you able to return home every day you worked in farmwork or food processing? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
- Are you a full-time student who traveled with a group other than your family to work in agriculture? Drop-down; Select Yes or No.
