Job Posting Overview

Self-Service vs. Staff-Assisted

There are two types of job postings in JobLink: self-service and staff-assisted. All job orders created by job center staff are automatically designated as staff-assisted. If an employer wants job center staff to manage their job order, they may request staff-assistance during Step 4, Posting Preferences, when creating the job order. When an employer selects the staff-assisted option, the job order is placed in the Job Orders Pending Completion queue for review and completion by job center staff. Job orders pending completion are not visible to the public, so it is very important for job center staff to check for them regularly.
